Little Basin Fauna

The mixed evergreen forest is home to more than 50 species of mammals, reptiles and amphibians, as well as 90 bird species. They can be seen during the day, at dawn and dusk, or at night, depending on when they are active. Although you may see animals around the site or on trails, please remember that they are wild and should not be approached or startled.
